Greenville Christian Saints (Greenville, MS) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Delta Streets Academy Lions (Greenwood, MS), 51-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Greenville Christian upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Saints host Grace Baptist Academy (Ocean Springs, MS) to clash with the Flyers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Flyers go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Grace Baptist Academy won 70-43 in their recent non-league bout against Iola (Iola, TX)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Washington Generals (Greenville, MS) in a MAIS 4A District 2 bout, on Friday, January 5. Delta Streets Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record.
