The Ellsworth Eagles basketball team (Ellsworth, ME), dropped 64-52 in Thursday's league battle with the host Old Town Coyotes (Old Town, ME)
The Coyotes now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Desert Island for a B North battle on Saturday, January 6. Old Town will battle a Trojans team coming off a 62-45 league win over Bucksport (Bucksport, ME). The Trojans record now stands at 5-3.
The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Houlton (Houlton, ME). The Shiretowners come into the B North battle with a 2-7 record. In their last battle, Houlton dropped by John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME), 50-41, in a league battle.
