The Flandreau Fliers basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars to 27 in the Fliers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Fliers now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Baltic for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Flandreau will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-45 non-league win over Beresford (Beresford, SD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-2.
The Fighting Cougars (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Beresford (Beresford, SD). The Watchdogs come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Beresford was routed by Baltic (Baltic, SD), 58-45, in a non-league contest.
