Milton Red Hawks (Milton, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Fort Atkinson Blackhawks (Fort Atkinson, WI), 65-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Milton upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Red Hawks host Monroe (Monroe, WI) to play the Cheesemakers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Cheesemakers go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Monroe won 76-66 in their recent non-league bout against Lodi (Lodi, WI)

Next up, the Blackhawks play the Jefferson Eagles (Jefferson, WI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Fort Atkinson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 76-67 non-league win over Deerfield (Deerfield, WI).
