Huron Tigers (Huron, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Vermilion Sailors (Vermilion, OH), 54-43 in a league bout.
With the win, Huron upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH) to play the Redskins in a Sandusky Bay - Bay bout on Friday, January 12. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 2-7.
Next up, the Sailors play the St. Paul Flyers (Norwalk, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Vermilion will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Flyers go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 43-39 league win over Monroeville (Monroeville, OH).
