St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kalkaska Blazers (Kalkaska, MI), 60-30 in a league bout.

With the win, St. Francis upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Gladiators host Grayling (Grayling, MI) to clash with the Vikings in a Lake Michigan bout on Thursday, January 4. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Grayling won 54-44 in their recent non-league bout against Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI)

Next up, the Blazers clash with the Boyne City Ramblers (Boyne City, MI) in a Lake Michigan bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Kalkaska will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Ramblers go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 52-50 league loss to Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI).
