In Thursday's non-league outing, the Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME), by a count of 53-29.
The Black Raiders (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Morse (Bath, ME). The Shipbuilders go into the non-league outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Morse smashed Leavitt (Turner, ME), 73-61, in a league outing.
The Hornets now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Belfast for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 6. Leavitt will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 64-49 non-league loss to Waterville (Waterville, ME). The Lions record now stands at 1-5.
