    • West Virginia High School Basketball - Mingo Central can't hold off Tolsia

    January 4, 2024: Fort Gay, WV 25514

    The Tolsia Rebels basketball team scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Mingo Central Miners to 31 in the Rebels non-league victory on Thursday.

    The Rebels now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grace Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Tolsia will battle a team coming off a 57-48 league win over Pipestem Christian Academy (Pipestem, WV). The record now stands at 4-4.

    The Miners (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Man (Man, WV). The Hillbillies come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Man was nudged by Phelps (Phelps, KY), 54-31, in a non-league contest.
