The Wicomico Indians basketball team (Salisbury, MD), was nudged 71-66 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Pocomoke Warriors (Pocomoke, MD)
The Warriors now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mardela for a Bayside - South battle on Monday, January 8. Pocomoke will battle a Warriors team coming off a 43-40 league loss to Crisfield (Crisfield, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 0-6.
The Indians (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Crisfield (Crisfield, MD). The Crabbers come into the Bayside - South battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Crisfield edged Mardela (Mardela Springs, MD), 43-40, in a league battle.
