The Stoughton Vikings basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the host Sauk Prairie Eagles to 62 in the Vikings non-league victory on Thursday.
The Vikings now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Baraboo for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 11. Stoughton will battle a Thunderbirds team coming off a 53-47 non-league win over Richland Center (Richland Center, WI). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 10-2.
The Eagles (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Mills (Lake Mills, WI). The L-Cats come into the non-league contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Lake Mills prevailed over Edgewood (Madison, WI), 68-57, in a non-league contest.
