The Trinity Christian Lions (Lubbock, TX) basketball felled the host Trinity Christian Eagles (Willow Park, TX), 60-49 in Thursday's league test.
The Lions (21-5) will now prepare for their test against Grace Prep (Arlington, TX). The Lions go into the TAPPS 4A District 1 test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, Grace Prep went down by Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool (Fort Worth, TX), 50-42, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Covenant Christian for a TAPPS 4A District 1 test on Tuesday, January 9. Trinity Christian will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 70-47 league win over Lake Country Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 15-4.
