The West 50th Street Seahawks basketball team scored 87 points and held the visiting Washington Trojans to 65 in the Seahawks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Seahawks now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martin Luther King Jr Educational Campus for a PSAL AAA Manhattan II contest on Tuesday, January 9. West 50th Street will meet a Knights team coming off a 66-65 non-league win over Manhattan Center for Science & Math (New York, NY). The Knights record now stands at 5-3.

The Trojans (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Percy Sutton (New York, NY). The enter the PSAL AAA Manhattan II contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Percy Sutton triumphed over Brandeis (New York, NY), 58-55, in a league contest.
