Virginia High School Basketball - Alexandria City can't hold off West Potomac

The West Potomac Wolverines basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Alexandria City Titans to 45 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wolverines now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairfax for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. West Potomac will battle a Lions team coming off a 57-26 non-league loss to Robinson (Fairfax, VA). The Lions record now stands at 2-4.
The Titans (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Bruins enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Lake Braddock was nudged by Woodson (Fairfax, VA), 52-42, in a non-league contest.
