Washington Panthers (Washington, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL), 63-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Washington upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Panthers host Canton (Canton, IL) to play the Little Giants in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Little Giants go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
Next up, the Eagles play the Morton Potters (Morton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Dunlap will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record.
