Willow Canyon Wildcats (Surprise, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ), 73-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Willow Canyon upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Centennial (Peoria, AZ) to clash with the Coyotes in a bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ) in a bout, on Thursday, January 11. Ironwood will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
