St. Mary's Rams (Stockton, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA), 60-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Rams travel to Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Bishop O'Dowd won 53-50 in their recent non-league bout against Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA)

Next up, the Dons clash with the Kimball Jaguars (Tracy, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Acalanes will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 59-41 league win over Sierra (Manteca, CA).
