In Thursday's non-league outing, the Hydro-Eakly Bobcats (Hydro, OK) basketball squad edged the host Apache Warriors (Apache, OK), by a margin of 44-41.
The Bobcats (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Vanoss (Ada, OK). The Wolves go into the non-league outing with a 11-2 record. In their last outing, Vanoss held off Asher (Asher, OK), 48-34, in a league outing.
The Warriors now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Gracemont for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 9. Apache will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 51-16 non-league loss to Mangum (Mangum, OK). The Lions record now stands at 1-15.
