Arnold Marlins (Panama City Beach, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers (Panama City, FL), 35-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Arnold upgrades its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Marlins travel to Rutherford (Panama City, FL) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 14-1. Rutherford won 56-45 in their recent non-league bout against The Webb School (Bell Buckle, TN)

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Franklin County Seahawks (Eastpoint, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. North Bay Haven Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Seahawks come into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 42-29 non-league win over Bozeman (Panama City, FL).
