Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Barron Golden Bears (Barron, WI) and the visiting Spooner Rails (Spooner, WI), saw Barron's basketball squad wallop Spooner by a tally of 67-27.
With the victory, Barron improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Golden Bears travel to Ashland (Ashland, WI) to play the Oredockers in a Heart O'North challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Oredockers come into the challenge with a record of 2-8. Ashland lost 63-23 in their recent league challenge against St. Croix Falls (St. Croix Falls, WI)
Next up, the Rails play the Cameron Comets (Cameron, WI) in a Heart O'North challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Spooner will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 62-44 league win over Northwestern (Maple, WI).
