With the win, Bear Creek upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Bruins host Turlock Christian (Turlock, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Turlock Christian lost 31-30 in their recent non-league bout against Stockton Christian (Stockton, CA)

Next up, the Cougars play the Chavez Titans (Stockton, CA) in a San Joaquin Athletic Association bout, on Monday, January 8. Weston Ranch will attempt to upgrade on its 2-12 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 37-18 league win over Linden (Linden, CA).
