The York Dukes basketball team (Elmhurst, IL), dropped 59-44 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL)
The Redwings now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marist for a East Suburban Catholic battle on Saturday, January 6. Benet Academy will battle a RedHawks team coming off a 62-33 non-league loss to Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The RedHawks record now stands at 5-15.
The Dukes (10-7) will now prepare for their battle against Proviso West (Hillside, IL). The Panthers come into the West Suburban - Silver battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Proviso West dropped by Kaneland (Maple Park, IL), 52-36, in a non-league battle.
