The Holt Ironmen basketball team (Holt, AL), was overwhelmed 52-17 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Bibb County Choctaws (Centreville, AL)

The Choctaws now possess a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pickens County for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5.

The Ironmen (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Saints come into the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Holy Spirit Catholic trounced Berry (Berry, AL), 46-22, in a league battle.
