The Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL) basketball crushed the host Thornridge Falcons (Dolton, IL), 78-28 in Thursday's league test.

The Blazing Trojan (15-4) will now prepare for their test against Thornton (Harvey, IL). The Wildcats go into the Southland test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Thornton walloped Crete-Monee (Crete, IL), 49-43, in a league test.

The Falcons now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Thornwood for a Southland test on Monday, January 8. Thornridge will encounter a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 74-25 non-league loss to Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 4-15.
