West Virginia High School Basketball - Bluefield ripped by Wyoming East

January 4, 2024: New Richmond, WV 24867

The Wyoming East Warriors basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Bluefield Beavers to 51 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Summers County for a Coalfield AA contest on Thursday, January 11.

The Beavers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mercer Christian Academy (Princeton, WV). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Mercer Christian Academy was routed by James Monroe (Lindside, WV), 54-45, in a non-league contest.
