The Lions now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Copan for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 9. South Coffeyville will battle a Hornets team coming off a 42-30 league loss to Barnsdall (Barnsdall, OK). The Hornets record now stands at 3-9.

The Chieftains (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Welch (Welch, OK). The Wildcats come into the Lucky Seven battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Welch was routed by Colcord (Colcord, OK), 51-15, in a league battle.
