Minnesota High School Basketball - Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop overwhelmed by Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart

The Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the visiting Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds to 25 in the Mustangs league victory on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Minnesota Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 64-25 league win over Renville County West (Renville, MN). The Bluejays record now stands at 9-2.
The Thunderbirds (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Le Sueur-Henderson (Le Sueur, MN). The Giants come into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Le Sueur-Henderson triumphed over Loyola (Mankato, MN), 53-44, in a non-league contest.
