Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) and the visiting Carbondale Terriers (Carbondale, IL), saw Centralia's basketball squad wallop Carbondale by a tally of 60-34.

With the victory, Centralia improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Orphans travel to Columbia (Columbia, IL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 8. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 11-7.

Next up, the Terriers confront the Marion Wildcats (Marion, IL) in a South Seven challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Carbondale will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record.
