The Caseville Eagles basketball team scored 30 points and held the host Carsonville-Port Sanilac Tigers to 20 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to All Saints Central for a North Central Thumb - Stripes contest on Monday, January 8. Caseville will battle a Cougars team coming off a 53-8 league win over Akron-Fairgrove (Fairgrove, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 5-2.

The Tigers (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Brown City (Brown City, MI). The Green Devils enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Brown City was defeated by Lakeville (Otisville, MI), 29-28, in a non-league contest.
