With the win, Neillsville upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Assumption (Wisconsin Rapids, WI) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 11-0. Assumption won 75-35 in their recent non-league bout against Rib Lake (Rib Lake, WI)

Next up, the Hornets play the Owen-Withee Blackhawks (Owen, WI) in a Cloverbelt - East bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Colby will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 36-30 league win over Loyal (Loyal, WI).
