Fairland Dragons (Proctorville, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Dawson-Bryant Hornets (Coal Grove, OH), 80-30 in a league bout.
With the win, Fairland upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Dragons host Minford (Minford, OH) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Minford won 43-24 in their recent league bout against Valley (Lucasville, OH)
Next up, the Hornets play the Chesapeake Panthers (Chesapeake, OH) in a Ohio Valley bout, on Monday, January 8. Dawson-Bryant will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 41-30 non-league win over Greenup County (Greenup, KY).
