In Thursday's league outing, the Dayton Bulldogs (Springfield, NJ) basketball squad beat the host Hillside Comets (Hillside, NJ), by a margin of 45-26.

The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Summit (Summit, NJ). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league outing with a 6-2 record.

The Comets now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Governor Livingston for a Union County - Valley outing on Saturday, January 6. Hillside will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 44-41 non-league win over Johnson (Clark, NJ). The Highlanders record now stands at 4-4.
