The Velma-Alma Comets basketball team (Velma, OK), was overwhelmed 53-26 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Dibble Demons (Dibble, OK)
The Demons now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lexington for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. Dibble will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-43 non-league win over Marietta (Marietta, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-5.
The Comets (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Ringling (Ringling, OK). The Blue Devils come into the Oilfield battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Ringling trounced Little Axe (Norman, OK), 56-16, in a non-league battle.
