Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY) and the visiting East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY), saw Garrard County's basketball squad knock off East Jessamine by a count of 62-46.

With the victory, Garrard County upgrades its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Golden Lions host Danville (Danville, KY) to play the Admirals in a District 45 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Admirals come into the challenge with a record of 4-7.

Next up, the Jaguars play the Danville Christian Academy Warriors (Danville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. East Jessamine will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
