Elizabethtown Bears (Elizabethtown, PA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Solanco Golden Mules (Quarryville, PA), 22-14 in a league bout.

With the victory, Elizabethtown upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bears host Donegal (Mt. Joy, PA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Golden Mules play the Spring Grove Rockets (Spring Grove, PA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Solanco will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 49-25 league loss to Dallastown (Dallastown, PA).
