Emerald Ridge Jaguars (South Hill, WA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Olympia Bears (Olympia, WA), 48-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, Emerald Ridge upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Rogers (Puyallup, WA) to play the Rams in a 4A South Puget Sound - South bout on Saturday, January 6. The Rams come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Rogers lost 57-54 in their recent non-league bout against Decatur (Federal Way, WA)

Next up, the Bears play the Curtis Vikings (University Place, WA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Olympia will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 90-6 league loss to Sumner (Sumner, WA).
