The West Middlesex Big Reds (West Middlesex, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Farrell Steelers (Farrell, PA), 47-28 in Thursday's league test.

The Big Reds (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Reynolds (Greenville, PA). The Raiders go into the District 10 Region 1 test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Reynolds went down by Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA), 58-18, in a league test.

The Steelers now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Commodore Perry for a District 10 Region 1 outing on Monday, January 8. Farrell will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 60-7 league loss to Mercer (Mercer, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-9.
