Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Florence Christian Eagles (Florence, SC) and the visiting Marlboro Academy Dragons (Bennettsville, SC), saw Florence Christian's basketball squad hold off Marlboro Academy by a tally of 2-0.

With the victory, Florence Christian improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Williamsburg Academy (Kingstree, SC) to play the Stallions in a SCISA AAA Region II challenge on Friday, January 5. The Stallions come into the challenge with a record of 0-3.

Next up, the Dragons encounter the Lowcountry Prep (Pawleys Island, SC) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 6. Marlboro Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record.
