Louisiana High School Basketball - River Oaks holds off Franklin Academy

Fans at Thursday's league battle between the River Oaks Mustangs (Monroe, LA) and the visiting Franklin Academy Cougars (Winnsboro, LA), saw River Oaks's basketball team get by Franklin Academy by a tally of 55-50.
The Mustangs now possess a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tensas Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5.
The Cougars (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hillcrest Christian (Jackson, MS). The Cougars come into the MAIS 3A District 4 battle with a 3-15 record.
