Hillsborough Raiders (Hillsborough, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Franklin Warriors (Somerset, NJ), 59-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hillsborough upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Madison (Madison, NJ) to play the Dodgers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Dodgers come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Madison won 68-27 in their recent non-league bout against Boonton (Boonton, NJ)

Next up, the Warriors play the The Pingry School Big Blue (Martinsville, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
