The George-Little Rock Mustangs basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Harris-Lake Park Wolves to 28 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Mary's for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. George-Little Rock will battle a Hawks team coming off a 63-55 non-league win over Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 8-1.

The Wolves (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn triumphed over Unity Christian (Orange City, IA), 40-35, in a league contest.
