The Mt. St. Joseph Academy Green Wave (Rutland, VT) basketball nipped the visiting Green Mountain Chieftains (Chester, VT), 26-20 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Green Wave (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Poultney (Poultney, VT). The Blue Devils go into the Marble Valley - D test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Poultney was tipped by Rivendell Academy (Orford, NH), 43-32, in a non-league test.
The Chieftains now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they host Mill River for a Marble Valley - B test on Saturday, January 6. Green Mountain will encounter a Minutemen squad coming off a 53-17 non-league loss to Vergennes (Vergennes, VT). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-6.
