Living Word Lutheran Timberwolves (Jackson, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Heritage Christian Patriots (New Berlin, WI), 65-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Living Word Lutheran upgrades its record to 10-0 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Catholic Central (Burlington, WI) to play the Hilltoppers in a Midwest Classic bout on Saturday, January 6. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Catholic Central lost 53-38 in their recent non-league bout against St. Thomas More (Milwaukee, WI)

Next up, the Patriots play the Kenosha Christian Life Eagles (Kenosha, WI) in a Midwest Classic bout, on Monday, January 8. Heritage Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 71-38 league loss to Lake Country Lutheran (Hartland, WI).
