The Hettinger/Scranton Black Devils (Hettinger, ND) basketball knocked off the visiting Killdeer Cowboys (Killdeer, ND), 44-27 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Black Devils (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] (Bowman, ND). The Bulldogs go into the B District 5 test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Rhame] notched a victory over Beach (Beach, ND), 77-16, in a league test.
The Cowboys now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mandaree for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Killdeer will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 57-38 league win over Center-Stanton (Center, ND). The Warriors record now stands at 4-5.
