The Wilmington Greyhounds basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Hickory Hornets to 33 in the Greyhounds league victory on Thursday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grove City for a District 10 Region 4 contest on Monday, January 8. Wilmington will battle a Eagles team coming off a 53-47 league win over Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-3.

The Hornets (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Greenville (Greenville, PA). The Trojans come into the District 10 Region 4 contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Greenville was routed by Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA), 35-24, in a league contest.
