With the victory, Milford improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Oakwood (Fithian, IL) to confront the Comets in a Vermilion Valley challenge on Monday, January 8. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 6-14. Oakwood won 36-25 in their recent league challenge against Chrisman (Chrisman, IL)

Next up, the Cornjerkers confront the Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Hoopeston will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Purple Riders come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 51-39 non-league win over Dieterich (Dieterich, IL).
