Jamestown Eagles (Williamsburg, VA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Smithfield Packers (Smithfield, VA), 66-3 in a league bout.

With the victory, Jamestown upgrades its record to 10-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Grafton (Yorktown, VA) to play the Clippers in a Bay Rivers bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Clippers come into the bout with a record of 9-1. Grafton won 67-7 in their recent league bout against York (Yorktown, VA)

Next up, the Packers play the Surry County Cougars (Dendron, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Smithfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 3-10 record after their 44-28 non-league win over Northumberland (Heathsville, VA).
