With the victory, Pomona Catholic upgrades its record to 3-8 on the campaign. The Pacers host Sacred Heart of Jesus (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Comets in a Santa Fe bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 4-10. Sacred Heart of Jesus lost 51-46 in their recent league bout against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA)

Next up, the Pioneers play the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. San Gabriel Mission will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record.
