The Woodbridge Barrons (Woodbridge, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ), 45-43 in Thursday's league test.

The Barrons (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Middlesex (Middlesex, NJ). The Bluejays go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Middlesex got by Sayreville (Parlin, NJ), 55-27, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Plainfield for a Greater Middlesex - White test on Saturday, January 6. South Plainfield will encounter a Canucks squad coming off a 52-43 non-league win over South Brunswick (Monmouth Junction, NJ). The Canucks record now stands at 7-2.
