The Charlottesville Black Knights basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Albemarle Patriots to 4 in the Black Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Black Knights now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host George Washington for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. Charlottesville will battle a Eagles team coming off a 24-18 non-league loss to Amherst County (Amherst, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-4.
The Patriots (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Goochland was routed by Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 60-12, in a non-league contest.
