The Buhach Colony Thunder basketball team scored 23 points and restricted the host Golden Valley Cougars to 20 in the Thunder league victory on Thursday.

The Thunder now sport a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Capitan for a contest on Monday, January 8. Buhach Colony will battle a Gauchos team coming off a 58-17 league loss to Merced (Merced, CA). The Gauchos record now stands at 0-11.

The Cougars (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Atwater (Atwater, CA). The Falcons come into the contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Atwater was nudged by Patterson (Patterson, CA), 47-38, in a league contest.
